You know when you are really busy when you have a brand new PS4 sitting in the living room with both Killzone: Shadow Fall and Shadow of Mordor installed. Yup, I got a game console for my birthday, thanks to my awesome wife but due to family, work and running commitments, I’ve yet to find decent time to get to know the console/games a little better. On the plus side, getting me a console leverages on the fact that my gaming habit pays for itself (thanks to the blog), so yeah, it’s just a matter of time.

Anyways, enough of big consoles, if you are up for something Rogue-like on your Android device, Senri Hin and Hiroshi Sasaki have something for you in the form of Loot Dungeon. The game is based off the open-source Pixel Dungeon and comes with pixel art graphics and a simple, easy to use interface. Based on user feedback, it’s probably the most visually stunning derivative of Pixel Dungeon so far.

In Loot Dungeon, no two play-throughs are the same as the dungeons are randomly generated. While exploring the depths of Loot Dungeon and killing monsters, players will need to be mindful of the trademark Rouge-like difficulty and PERMADEATH. That last bit certainly is an exciting challenge for those who are already fans of the Rouge-like RPG-subgenre.

Loot Dungeon is available for free on Google Play Store for FREE, so check it out over here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dinjon.lootdungeon
