Touch Foo Updates Soosiz (iPhone) for Game Center and Retina Display

Highly rated iOS platforming game Soosiz by independent game developer group, Touch Foo, has just received an update to version 1.3. In Soosiz, the player assumes the role of a hero, running and jumping around different surfaces and obstacles, rescuing his friends, killing monsters and collecting coins. The update adds the two most requested features: retina display optimized graphics and support for Game Center leaderboards and achievements.

Jyvaskyla, Finland – Independent game developer group Touch Foo today is pleased to announce the version 1.3 update for the highly acclaimed iOS platforming game Soosiz and the free version Soosiz Lite. The update adds the two most requested features: retina display optimized graphics and support for Game Center leaderboards and achievements.

In Soosiz, the player assumes the role of a hero, running and jumping around different surfaces and obstacles, rescuing his friends, killing monsters and collecting coins. Since its release in October 2009, Soosiz has received glowing reviews by critics and players alike. The retina display support makes the experience even better on the iPhone 4 and the 4th generation iPod touch. The Game Center leaderboards and achievements add replay value for those have already finished the game.

The game has been inspired by many classic platformers, but the traditional gameplay in Soosiz is spiced up by a changing gravity. Each platform has its own gravity, which allows the player character to run at the bottom of the platforms as well as on top of them. This allows for interesting level design and gameplay elements, which make the player to look for totally new kinds of solutions.
