Work got in the way of updates for the past two weeks but while I was busy fronting an exciting new project, I had some time to shop about (online), play some games (casual) and run. Anyways, it’s back to my normal posting schedule starting Monday onwards. Before that though, I received my very first Amazon.com ordered LEGO set  a couple weeks back. It was the LEGO 21103 The DeLorean Time Machine Building Set. Now this isn’t as popular as the Ghosbusters Ecto-1 nor is it better reviewed, so the only reason I bought it was because of the massive 20% discount.

All in all, it cost me USD 47 including shipping via AmazonGlobal Expedited Shipping and it took about 13 days to arrive to Malaysia. The ordering and tracking experience (both through Amazon.com) was pretty good, I was able to track the item’s journey from the States, over to Singapore and then to Malaysia. And unlike my other order with Cadence Watches (that’s another story), Amazon got my office address correct.

The price tag works out to around RM 160, and that’s matches the lowest price one particular grey importer is selling this set for (and as far as I know, he is out of stock). My colleague on the other hand got his set for RM 190 when the set first came out.

I have to say that the set arrived in immaculate condition so I’m debating with myself whether to keep this mint-in-sealed-box or open it up for assembly. I’m not really a fan of the movie so I’m leaning towards putting the set into cold storage.
