Back in 2012, we mentioned that our pal Zeke and the rest of the gang at Iron Man Mode were fundraising for the Child’s Play Charity in a very noble way back in 2012 (check out the article over here on what they did). Zeke’s at it again, raising money for Child’s Play but at the same time it is curtain calls for Iron Man Mode. While it will be sad to see the site go into hibernation mode, it’s great that the gang will be going out with a bang!

The fundraising target this time is USD 2,000 and true to form, Zeke will be doing something really cool. On Friday, the 23rd of May at 8 p.m. (GMT), Zeke will start livestreaming a virtual but real-time flight around the world, despite the fact that he doesn’t know how to work the airplane simulator which is X-Plane 10. X-Plane 10 is touted as the world’s most advanced flight sim in the world, made to appeal to real-world pilots and flight sim veterans.

Anyways, watching Zeke embark on this flight should be interesting and he is estimating that it should take more several days to complete the endeavour, expect commentary and plenty of fun moments (he doesn’t even know how to work the controls to land the plane). As of now, he has managed to accumulate USD 748 out of the USD 2,000 for this particular fundraiser, so hopefully we get to see him go closer to his goal come this Friday.
