Yesterday marked the 1st anniversary of Steve Jobs’ death. My then girlfriend (now wife) and I were holidaying in Hong Kong at that time, and on that day, we were actually in Hong Kong Disneyland. We didn’t immediately go to the newly opened Apple Store in Central but I saw news snippets that many people were gathered there.

We only managed to find the time to head over to the Apple Store a couple of days later. By the time we’ve arrived, plenty of people have left Post-It notes and wreaths on the inner facade of the store. It was quite a site to behold and something that was rather befitting to commemorate an icon’s passing. Have a look  of the pictures above, taken by me a year ago at Hong Kong’s one and only Apple Store during Steve Job’s death last year.

To Steve, thanks for everything and  may you rest in peace.
