I actually found Zepi:Dark HD to be a really interesting match-x game. The game has three themes to choose from and you basically need to swipe your finger around matching icons of the same type. My favourite theme would be the Graveyard which features among other weird things, eyeballs and dentures with fangs.

The game ends when the icons fill up the entire screen. Zepi:Dark HD comes with Game Center leaderboards where you can compare high scores with players from rest of the world. Speaking about high scores, this is the part where I’m disappointed about Zepi: Dark HD. The game comes with power-ups that can actually turn the tide in any particular session, allowing you to gain absurd high scores.

However, these power-ups are finite and to gain more quantities of power-ups, the only way would be to do in-app purchases. I don’t think it’s fair to be on the same leaderboard with those who choose to “buy” their success. Don’t get me wrong though, the game is really fun to play.

Nine Over Ten 9/10 rates Zepi:Dark HD at a 3.5 out of 5. Check it out over here: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/zepi-dark-hd/id454149153?mt=8. A review code was provided to Nine Over Ten 9/10 for the purpose of this review.
