You know how sometimes people kick up a fuss over how iOS over content creation. Well, check out this new app we have here as our App of the Week from indie app developer Yu, called Magic Painter. It’s a pretty cool app that allows you to draw stuff with a variety of different paint brush types and colours, creating what most people would call as modern art.

Magic Painter features 11 different kinds of brushes with the ability to adjust the size of each brush. There are tens of colors and styles to choose from for each brush, and if you are unhappy with the results, there’s an eraser tool and an undo function. To help kick start things, the app comes with 30 kinds of canvas (a.k.a backgrounds) and the app lets you utilize images from your Camera Roll as your very own background.

Once you are done with creating your masterpiece, your art work is saved in the iPhone’s camera roll, and you can proceed to share it with the rest of the world by posting to Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr or e-mail, all from within the app.

Magic Painter is available on the iTunes App Store for USD 2.99 and it’s a universal app designed to run on the iPhone and iPad. Check it out over here: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/magic-painter/id461766602?mt=8
