OK, so there’s a long 4th of July weekend coming up, and what better timing to immerse yourself in some of the Internet’s heavy-hitting games which have gone free this past week. And the best part is, both PC and Mac gamers can join in the fun. First up, Valve’s Team Fortress 2 is now “free-to-play” with microtransactions available for equipment and character outfits. FPS fans should really check out this amazing game at https://store.steampowered.com/

Now, the world’s most subscribed-to MMORPG “World of WarCraft” is now also “free-to-play” up till your character reaching level 20. After that, the normal subscription model kicks in. Download the game client over at battle.net: https://battle.net/. Both of these games are huge downloads by the way, so you might as well get them now.

I’m not sure how am I going to spend time this weekend, but I think it would be between these two games and inFAMOUS 2 on the PS3. What about you guys?
