Today is like a press release day of sorts, with multiple announcements coming into my mailbox from one game developer, one PR company and one YouTube video producer, and it’s ALL GOOD!

First check out the following screenshots for Legacy Interactive’s latest title Emergency Room: Real Life Rescues, the latest game in their best selling Emergency Room medical series.

From the Press Release:

The pulse-stimulating video game will be released in Q2-2009 as the first paramedic medical simulation on the Nintendo DS.

Players step into the role of rookie Paramedic Troy Baker, who has just joined the Harbor City Hospital Emergency Medical Service Unit. Riding alongside veteran paramedic James “Jimmy” Reardon, players respond to dispatch calls and come to the aid of the citizens of Harbor City.

Players meet the dedicated ER staff as they attempt to uphold their Hippocratic Oath in the face of increasing adversity while the hospital’s Chief Executive Officer attempts to turn Harbor City Hospital into a more profitable business operation by any means.
