It’s more like the only purchase this month. I helped offload a copy of Initial D: Extreme Stage for the PS3 from a friend of mine for RM 80. With Play-Asia selling it for an already discounted price of USD 49.90, I saved RM 96 buying a barely used game.

One thing to note though is that the game is in Japanese, but if you are getting a copy yourself, don’t worry. The version sold on Play-Asia (as well as mine) comes with an English-language manual!
On a side note, don’t get me started by shying away from Japanese games simply because they are in Japanese. It’s not like playing them makes you feel that you are getting a Japanese language stuffed down your throat (I wouldn’t recommend it, even though it is a Kanji Sonomama Rakubiki Jiten dictionary cartridge).
I believe some games have universal appeal and are playable despite being in a foreign language. I’ve even got Japanese games in my collection that feature no Japanese text at all save for the manual and box! So don’t fret, take the plunge.

Horror video game fans, you owe it to yourselves to get the complete Siren experience for the PS3. Deemed an unusual, terrifying success by Gamespot (link), the game was previously made available as episodic content via the PSN before being compiled onto a single Blu-ray disc.

The compilation, which features all 12 episodes, is called Siren: New Translation and is now selling at a bargain bin price of USD 24.90! Check it out over here.

Whilst this bargain is a rather nice one for any PS3 gamer out there, I’m actually really tempted to get it, considering how much I love Sid Meier’s series of Civilization games.

Yup, if you are one who can’t read titles, the Asian version (it’s in English) of Sid Meier’s Civilization Revolution for the Sony PS3 is now a bargain bin title with a discounted price tag of USD 29.90 and get this, free international shipping to places like Malaysia and Singapore.

At the rate Play-Asia is putting stuff into the bargain bin, one could not be faulted for thinking that this is a precursor to a grand sale of sorts. In any case, keep this site bookmarked.
Despite even myself having trouble keeping track of notable games going into the bargain bin (one of them being Sonic Chronicles:The Dark Brotherhood ~ NDS ~ USD 29.90). And then there’s Infinite Undiscovery (Asian/English version) for the Xbox 360, going for just USD 19.90.
Not to mention Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe (Xbox 360, USD 34.90) and many more.

It’s not often you’ll find a head-lining Nintendo Wii title with a big price cut and in the bargain bin. But that is what exactly happened to Wii Music, a title much hyped and had Shigeru Miyamoto as designer, spokesperson and evangelist at the same time.

Anyways, the NTSC-J version of the game is currently selling for a discount at just USD 19.90. Grab a copy by clicking here.

And while this is the Asian version of the game (don’t worry, it’s in English. FYI, we speak English too in Asia, you know), it runs on Xbox 360s of all regions.

Hehe. I can’t believe I came up with such a title. Anyways, the sequel to the game which started all this inappropriate touching business on the Nintendo DS is now available for just USD 29.90.

That’s right, Dokidoki Majo Shipan! 2 DUO is now selling with a USD 19 discount. But I don’t know who would actually go and order a copy. Would you? As for me… hmmm….. nevermind… for those who are interested, click here for details.
