I never fail to notice that TGI Friday’s wait staff would usually adorn their vests with colourful badges. Now (in my best Joker voice), how bout putting these Rockman 20th Anniversary Can Badges on them vests?
These badges, produced by Yujin, are part of a long line of Rockman 20th Anniversary merchandise and Play-Asia has them in stock! Priced at USD 1.49 each, there are a total 23 different badges to collect. Interested? Click here for further details.

I’ve blogged about this particular Elvis Presley Be@rbrick before, and now collector’s item is available at a rock-bottom price of USD 9.90, down from its original price of USD 17.90!

I don’t know bout you guys but the character for this Touch Pen for the Nintendo DS reminds me of a Dooodoll. Anyways, the Yatterman Touch Pen & Stand (Omocchama) would look great as a desktop ornament.
There’s also another Yatterman Touch Pen & Stand featuring another character from the Yatterman anime, Doronjo.
The Gradius Vic Viper model kit, based on the Sky Girls anime version, first went on sale back in December 2007.
Now, two more versions have been introduced, Green and Red. Other than the different colour scheme, both versions are basically the same as the original, and require some model kit assembly skills.
The Gradius Vic Viper Red and Green model kits are available at Play-Asia. Click here for further details.
Yujin. It’s a name synonymous with Japanese gashapon (capsule) toys, not surprisingly because they are one of the top producers of capsulte toys in Japan.
I came across this interesting interview article on Pingmag which sheds some light on Yujin and the capsule toy development process.
Being a bit of a gashapon collector myself, my collection of made-by-Yujin gashapon includes my entire Mario Kart and Animal Crossing figurines as well as my Twilight Princess and Phantom Hourglass figurines. The following are pictures of my collection:
So, where do I get all these? I usually purchase them online, at Play-Asia. Head over to the Toys section and proceed to the Gashapon / Capsule Toys sub-section and you’ll find a variety of collections available for purchase.
These usually sell out pretty fast, so be sure to subscribe to Nine Over Ten 9/10 for highlights or reviews of my collections.
Some readers would probably remember my video review of the Namco Dotgraphics Figure with Sound from my old blog.
Consisting of 8 Nintendo Stage Figures and mascots from games such as Galaxian, Xevious, Rally X, Mappy, Digdug and Druaga, they each make an individual sound from the games.
For those who missed it, here’s my video review of Namco Dotgraphics Figure:
The pegboard allows you to have fun with mascots placement and the built-in speaker is actually quite loud, enough to get the attention of an entire room.
One good news is that these Namco Dotgraphics Figures are now on sale at Play-Asia, at USD 3.90 each, as opposed to its usual USD 6.90 selling price. Click here for further details.
