Big Fish Games Launches 2nd Annual Online Gaming Scholarship for Higher Education

Fancy winning an online gaming scholarship worth USD 2,500? Our friends at Big Fish Games have come up with their 2nd Annual Online Games Scholarship and all a participant needs to do to win it would be to write a minimum 500-word essay on “What are the biggest challenges in the mobile games industry today? How do you see those challenges evolving in the future?”

The scholarship is open only to college-bound graduating high school seniors and students currently enrolled in college (U.S. students only), and each student is limited to just one entry each. The dateline for submission is 5 p.m. PDT May 31st, 2014 and the scholarship recipient will be selected and notified directly by June 30, 2014.

This is one interesting way on how a video game publisher/developer gives back to the community, by giving a hand to one promising student on his or her journey into higher education, and it’s their second time running! The winner would be the one with the most thought-provoking and well-reasoned essay as judged by a panel of Big Fish staff members. For more details, check out the website right over here:
