GungHo Online Entertainment, Inc., a multiplatform publisher for the online gaming community and publisher of the highly-successful mobile title Puzzle & Dragons, announced today its collaboration with Rovio Entertainment’s Angry Birds video game franchise. From Monday, November 18, through Sunday, December 1, an Angry Birds-themed event dungeon with popular Angry Birds characters will be available within Puzzle & Dragons.

“We are excited to announce the collaboration of Puzzle & Dragons and the Angry Birds games from Rovio Entertainment,” said Daisuke Yamamoto, GungHo Online Entertainment Producer and creator of Puzzle & Dragons. “Angry Birds is one of the most recognizable entertainment franchises in the world, and we are thrilled to be working alongside Rovio to give our fans a look at what it would be like if Angry Birds characters invaded the world of Puzzle & Dragons.”

Rovio will be holding a themed-illustration contest from Monday, November 4, through Wednesday, November 20, that asks Angry Birds’ fans “What if Angry Birds showed up in the world of Puzzle & Dragons?” Deadline for submissions is Wednesday, November 20. Please visit for more information.

“At Rovio we are very happy to bring Angry Birds together with Puzzle & Dragons, and to introduce the fun contest to both games’ fans all over the world”, said Jami Laes, Executive Vice President of Games at Rovio Entertainment. “It will be exciting to see what our creative fans will come up with!”
