First up, U.K gaming retailer, the aptly named GAME, is in financial trouble and as a result has been missing out on stocking some of the latest blockbuster launches such as Tekken 3DS and the PlayStation Vita, with the latest casualty being Mass Effect 3. CNN reports that gaming is a top priority for mobile-phone makers. With companies like GAMEVIL developing/publishing mobile games and reporting a monumental 100 million cumulative app downloads for smartphones, it shouldn’t serve as a surprise. That’s why you see companies like Apple, Samsung, Nvidia, Qualcomm pushing the envelope. Take for instance the iPad 2. The A5 chip apparently is 9 times faster than the A4 chip powering the original iPad.
