Google Celebrate Bunsen Burner Inventor’s 200th Birthday With A Doodle!

The first time I encounter a Bunsen burner was back in science class in secondary school, and it took me a while to find out who actually designed that piece of lab equipment that can come up with yellow to blue flame by adjusting the amount of air that is mixed with the natural gas. The guy’s name is Robert Bunsen and today is his 200th birthday!

To celebrate the birthday of this man of science, Google has come up with a new doodle, and it’s an animated one, featuring stuff that you can find in a science lab, and of course it has a Bunsen burner in it as well. Head over to Google.com to check it out!
