Arcade Fist Fights Arrive On iOS Devices With JALECO’s 64th Street!

The retro games experts over at DotEmu are at it again, bringing the precursor to the SNES classic Rival Turf!, JALECO‘s arcade hit 64th Street to iOS devices. While the game is slated to be launched in the middle of this month, there’s plenty of preview stuff to go by. Check out the press release below for screens and even a trailer for 64th Street.

Paris, France – February 28th, 2011 – DotEmu, developer and publisher specialized in bringing retro games back to life, is proud to announce imminent releasing of beat them up: 64th Street – A Detective Story. Originally developed and published in 1991 by JALECO, this symbol of the arcade generation will be available for download worldwide on the Apple AppStore in mid-March 2011.

64th Street is the first opus in Rushing Beat series, it spawned Super NES classics Rival Turf! and Brawl Brothers. Run through New York in the 50s and track “the Legacy”, an evil organization responsible for many kidnappings. Try to find the daughter of one of the most influential men in town. Play the atypical detective duo Rick and Allen. Both are ready to fight the villains and free the girl!
