iPhone’s First MMORPG, Pocket Legends, Gets First Client Update

When Spacetime Studios first released Pocket Legends for the iPhone, it was a pretty big deal considering that it was the first MMORPG on the particular platform. To date, I’ve still have not since anything like it on the iPhone. And now, like any good MMORPG developer, Spacetime has just released a new client update for Pocket Legends.

Version 1.1 augments Pocket Legends with a set of features including gifting, stashing, vendors, NPC conversations, private tells, and more powerful game management. Watch the following trailer to get a better idea on the updates:

“We are very fortunate to have an active and involved community on our forums,” said Jake Rodgers, Art Director and Spacetime Studios co-founder, “They let us know exactly what they want, and we listen. This allows us to constantly integrate their desires into our vision of the game.”

“We continue to reap the benefits of our technology platform,” said Rick Delashmit, Lead Programmer, “The Spacetime Engine allows us to crank out client updates frequently while we update the game on a daily basis through content and server pipelines.”
