This Bad Company 2 Upgrade Will Make You Drink (More) Dr. Pepper!
Time to hit the supermarket as today you get to dress up your Battlefield Bad Company 2 soldier not with supermarket items but with the all new Kit Upgrade DLC. But here’s why it would necessiate a trip to the nearest supermarket/convenience store:
North American gamers can punch in a promo code printed on specially marked Dr. Pepper cans to unlock the pack, which contains 4 kits (one for each class) with specific unique uniforms and camouflaged weapons to give you a visual edge on the battlefield. The DLC is released today (21st April) on the Xbox 360 and is coming soon for the PS3/PC.
Since Dr. Pepper shipments are halted to the UK and the rest of Europe due a certain Icelandic volcano…(wait, don’t they ship it via container ships??), gamers over there can get hold of the kit upgrades for 160 MS points per kit upgrade or 440 MS points for the bundle pack (all kits).
For more information on the kits, check out the statement below from EA:
Recruited strictly from other high-level Special Operations units such as Delta Force and Spetsnaz, the Special Activities groups – SPECACT – are the elite of the elite, used mainly for covert operations and other high-risk missions in areas where conventional troops cannot be used.
With the 4 kit specific unique uniforms and the camouflaged SPECACT personal M16A2, UMP-45, MG3 and M95 SNIPER you have a visual edge on the Battlefield, showing that you’re a force to be reckoned with. The pack also includes 12 new awards and 4 Achievements.Powered by Sidelines
