Strange Night: Of Owls And Cobras
What a strange evening. I was on the highway driving to the badminton court when Cobra Starships’ Good Girls Go Bad came on air. The same song came on air, at about the same stretch when I was driving home from the badminton court!
And upon reaching my housing area (surrounded by palm oil estates), I saw an owl sitting on the middle of the road starring right at me. I slowed down and starred back, eventually pulling up right next to it. It was only a 10 second starring match before the big bird, more than 30 centimeters in height with a much bigger wingspan, flew off.
Strange evening indeed, kinda like the day I saw a hornbill perched on a tree in a Muslim cemetery..but that’s for another time.
