I remember getting my first booster packs of Magic: The Gathering from the Homelands expansion set as a souvenir from my mum after her holiday in Las Vegas back in ’96. I didn’t know what to make of them (except for the interesting flavour text and pretty art, I even had Autumn Willow) until I moved to Klang, where there was a comic bookstore which sold 5th Edition and subsequent sets until it closed down a few years later.

Since the decks on offer on Play-Asia are so cheap now, I’m thinking about starting over. Oh well. Don’t forget that this sale ends at the end of this month, so hurry!
